ICT-GZLB High Precision Transient Wave Recording Type Fault Indicator

Transient recording fault indicator is mainly used in distribution system to monitor and locate line faults. It can record the transient current and voltage waveform when the fault occurs. When there is a fault in the line, such as a short circuit or ground fault, the fault indicator will quickly  capture the transient signal. These transient signals have a short duration, but contain the key information of the fault, such as the fault direction, fault type and so on.

The fault indicator is easy to install and is generally installed on an an overhead line or cable line. Its advantage is that it can accurately locate the fault section, reducing the time and labor cost of fault finding. At the same time, through the analysis of the recorded wave data, it can also help the staff to better understand the characteristics of the fault, which is helpful to evaluate and optimize the operating state of the power grid.
